Tony Blair’s secret links to Gulf oil giants were revealed today as fresh details emerged of his “carte blanche” support for George Bush’s Iraq war.

The former prime minister has been in the pay of the Kuwaiti government and a South Korean oil firm for up to 18 months, a parliamentary watchdog has revealed.

But the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments allowed Mr Blair to keep his contracts secret because of “market sensitivities” and because the Kuwaitis requested confidentiality.

The Kuwaitis alone paid Blair $1.5 million for his ‘advisory role’ . Blair was at great paind to cover this up and manage to hoodwink the fools in the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments. That was until finally after pressure they were discovered for their negligence.

In an unprecedented move, he persuaded the committee which vets the jobs of former ministers to keep details of both deals from the public for 20 months, claiming it was commercially sensitive. The deals emerged yesterday when the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments finally lost patience with Mr Blair and decided to ignore his objections and publish the details.

News of the secret deals fuelled fresh accusations that Mr Blair is ‘cashing in on his contacts’ from the controversial Iraq war in what one MP called ‘revolving door politics at its worst’.

In a further revelation, a classified memo from Mr Blair to President Bush showed the full extent of his support for the toppling of Saddam Hussein.

The personal note — which has been seen by the Chilcot Inquiry but not released by the Government — shows that Mr Blair wrote: “You know, George, whatever you decide to do, I’m with you.”

The contents of the memo, which is buried in Andrew Rawnsley’s book The End Of The Party, confirm the exact words Mr Blair used to offer his strong backing for Bush in July 2002, eight months before the invasion.

The Chilcot committee was barred from quizzing Mr Blair publicly about the private notes to the US president when he gave evidence in January. Downing Street has refused permission to release the secret documents.

Rawnsley’s book shows that Sir Christopher Meyer, Britain’s ambassador to the US, reacted with astonishment when he saw the note.

He phoned Mr Blair’s foreign policy adviser Sir David Manning, saying: “Why in God’s name has he said that again?”

Sir David replied: “We tried to stop him… but he wouldn’t listen.”

Blair is keeping his finances private to avoid any transparency as to where the money is coming from.
However he doing this using a loophole in UK Law. I wonder if he deliberately left it open whulst in office to allow for this?

He has set up a complicated artificial structure which avoids the normal rule within companies house. His main vehicle is a so-called limited partnership, called ‘Windrush Ventures No 3 LP’.

Thanks to a gap in the Whitehall regulations, this entity is not required to publish any accounts. Such partnerships must normally disclose figures, or face criminal penalties.

Blair sidestepped the rules by inserting a second partnership as one of the notional partners, in a way the regulations do not cover.

This second partnership, Windrush Ventures No 2 LLP, is a so-called limited liability partnership, a type of entity only invented in 2000, which the rules have not been updated to mention.

The LLP in turn controls Blair’s operating company, called Windrush Ventures Ltd, which runs his Mayfair office in Grosvenor Square.

The perfectly legal structures Blair has set up to achieve secrecy are so complicated that they have previously baffled analysts.

They involve 12 different entities, six in the Windrush structure and another half-dozen in a more recent parallel structure called Firerush.

Blair’s spokesman told us: “This has been done on the basis of legal and accountancy advice throughout.” He called the structures “simply an administrative vehicle established in order to allow Mr Blair’s office sensibly to administer his different projects”.

One name involved is Blair’s lawyer Alexandra Harle, of solicitors Bircham Dyson Bell.

While the law requires Blair to publish limited accounts for parts of the Windrush entities, the finances of the master-partnership remain a secret. More than £6m can be seen to have cascaded down from the partnership into other companies. But details of the full revenues remain hidden.
Blair loves breaking and bending the rules wherever he can. To date he’s got away with it all. Even mass murder. But for how long?

In the current recession, it is sick-making to see the banks having interest free loans, getting bailed out by the taxpayer, and escaping even having to pay back the millions to the public they have stolen in illegal bank charges.
The current Labour government is responsible for this behaviour, for allowing it to happen in the first place with no foresight and provisions, and for continuing to let it happen.
Whilst the poor get poorer and families and entrepreneurs and working families alike lose their shirts and their homes, it seems the rich get richer.
The worst elements are always the outgoing mp’s who leave to line their pockets with businesses they have helped out (often illegally) whilst in ‘power’ . UK politicians from across all major parties have succumbed to bribes in the past and lobbyists. It needs to be stamped out, but when they’re not doing this they are illegally claiming expenses for things they have no right to claim for.

Tony Blair has taken things to a new level. Whilst a single mother who may visit a supermarket to steal a loaf of bread and milk for her children ,as she has no money to feed them, would be frogmarched to the security office (by a civilian) and face a court appearance, it seems those guilty of warcrimes and sanctioning mass murder are free to globetrot the world, making millions for their already rich families.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying people should steal, but this example I think shows how insane our country and legal system has become.
In October 2009, 100 local VIP’s queued up in a Vancouver hotel to have their photographs taken with Tony Blair . They paid £180 each for the honour. This was after a 2 hour appearance and speech by Tony Blair. The wage for this 2 hour excursion? £100,000

‘Dirty’ Tony is currently waltzing around the world playing at ‘peace envoy’ . The irony is not wasted on the educated I know as he has singlehandedly done more to destabilise the region and Britain’s position in the world than anyone else I can think of.

Many are saying what Blair is doing is purely for his own financial gain. He is overlapping his ‘political work’ and business deals. Where they start and end is anyone’s guess.

Another one of Blair’s ‘contracts’ is with JP Morgan. He gets £2.5 million a year. I quote: “one of his main roles is to explore business opportunities in Libya“.
When we look at the recent release of the Lockerbie bomber to Libya, we need to ask ‘who’s greasing who?” Remember ‘Lockerbie’ was the worst terrorist atrocity to ever befall the UK.

He has another £2m deal with Zurich Financial Services. But these – together with the £5m he’s getting from Random House for his memoirs and his lecture-circuit earnings – are pin money compared with the fantastic cash flow on offer from Tony Blair Associates (TBA), the consultancy he has set up to “peddle his experience to foreign governments”.

Let’s look at some of the other countries Blair is dealing with in a ‘business’ role along with Libya. Kuwait, United Arab Emirates …………..
Alarm bells ringing yet?

To quote Peter Brierley, whose son , a British Soldier, was tragically killed in the Iraq war, Blair’s attempts to milk his contacts in the region are tantamount to making money “from the blood… of the soldiers who died in Iraq”.

Whilst our troops who are forced to fight an illegal war, are doing so in the most challenging situations, often lacking basic equipment and even more at risk as a result of underfunding by the present government. You have to ask ‘What is wrong with this country?’
You can protest, but of course you have to ask permission first to the Police, and you cannot go within a mile of parliament. They’ll quote security issues, congestion etc, but it’s not the Police who make the rules, they do as they’re told, you can’t blame them.
We need to take to the streets, submit mass petitions and take this protest from the internet all the way to number 10 and the courts.

While you’re wondering where you’ll find the mortgage payment from, spare a thought for Blair’s second oldest Nicky Blair. He’s just 23 years old. There was all this talk of him being a real socialist and how he was going to teach in a tough innercity school. Well Tony Blair has just bought him £1.3 million house in London.
Why would you buy a young man of his age a house of that value? Who is working? It is one of at least 6 UK properties the Blair’s own Maybe a taxbreak? Wouldn’t surprise me. The bottom line is Blair has blood on his hands. Hundreds of our troops are dead, hundreds of thousands of men, women & children are dead in Iraq. None of these people would be dead or maimed or injured had Blair not lied, misled and tricked parliament and the British people. Most of the UK public knew at the time it was wrong. Millions took to the streets in scenes never seen before in the UK. Even the royal family publicly spoke out, Prince Charles, saying it would be a disaster. We were proved right. WHERE is the justice in our country, how can people get away with genocide and crimes against humanity?
If this doesn’t matter, then we should all give up now. Sign our petition and contact your local mp . Forward this article to people so that we can spread the word.
Thankyou
